If you are about to send us a message wondering if we can repair a certain issue with your electronics or what types of items we can repair? You've come to the right place!
We have a widely skilled team of expert technicians who can usually put their powers together to repair any issue, however, if the issue cannot be fixed or the item would be more expensive to repair than it is worth, we will typically offer you a trade-in, which means that we would provide a discount on a similar item that we have in stock. If you accept the trade-in, we would keep your item and send you the replacement. The trade-in option would only be offered once we have received your items and have had a chance to diagnose them. We may also offer a trade-in if the cost to repair your item(s) would exceed the cost of a trade-in.
Finding which items we repair
Start by going to the Repair Services section of JoesGE.com.
Next, click on the repair form button. (Button may appear differently on your page, usually, it will say something like "Fix my device" or "Repair Form".)
***If you have issues with the repair form loading, it is likely due to your web browser, please download Google Chrome as it is the best web browser.
Once the page loads you will be presented with options for categories of electronics that we repair. If you are wanting to send in something to us such as a droid or a death star and are unsure what category that would fall under, please, reach out to us and we will check to see if it is something that we can repair. Normally, if you do a Google search for your item and it can be purchased for less than $35, the repair cost will not be worth it as our base price is $35 so we would decline to repair your item. If it is worth more than that, we can usually repair the device.
If you see a category that your item fits into, click on that category.
You will then be presented with the brands in that category that we work with. If your brand is not shown, and your item is worth more than $35 according to Google, please contact us to see if we can repair it. If your brand is shown, simply click on it.
You will then be shown a list of models that we work on. If your model is shown, we can fix any issue with it regardless of if your item(s) is physically damaged (Broken) or it is just not working. We are usually aware of every common issue that could go on with the items shown on our website.
As stated above, if the repair would be too expensive or the issue is deemed unfixable, we would offer you a discount on the same or a similar item to the ones that you sent to us for repair.
If your model is not shown, we do not work on it currently. If your item has been released within the last 3 months, we may offer repair services on it, however, the turnaround time would likely be longer than normal as we may not have quick access to parts for your device.
